PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device capable of preventing a hand and a paper from being caught when storing paper in a paper feeding tray.;SOLUTION: This paper feeding device has the paper feeding tray 2 storing a bundle of papers and a pair of side fences 13, 13 erected on a bottom face of the paper feeding tray 2. The side fence 13 is provided with regulation faces 14 opposing at a predetermined interval at both side fringes in the direction L of paper width, and a regulation member 15 regulating a position in the direction L of paper width of a bundle of papers is provided in a front part in the direction W of paper conveyance of the side fence 13. The regulation member 15 has a regulation plate 16 abutting on a side fringe in the direction L of paper width of the bundle of papers and an energizing member 17 provided between the regulation plate 16 and the side fence 13 to energize the regulation plate 16 in the direction of side fringe in the direction L of paper width. The regulation plate 16 has a bent part 16b whose upper part 16d protrudes onto a paper bundle side and which is bent onto an outer side in the direction L of paper width along an upper end face of the side fence 13 from its upper end part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
