PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly measure the load weight of the combination of vehicles in either a tow vehicle or a vehicle to be towed even when the specifications of the load sensors of the tow vehicle and the vehicle to be towed are different.;SOLUTION: At the time of measuring the load weight of a combination of vehicles A in a state that a semi-trailer 3 is linked with a tractor 1, manufacturer information is outputted from trailer side units 9A and 9B provided at the semi-trailer 3, and whether or not signals outputted by the trailer side units 9A and 9B are obtained in response to its own company's command or a common command is specified based on the output signal of a load sensor 91 of the semi-trailer 3 in a tractor side unit 7 of the tractor 1 to which the origin of manufacture information is inputted.
