PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure plate mechanism, an automatic original feeding device and an image forming apparatus which is capable of enhancing both of picture quality and operability of pressure plate with a relatively simple method and obtaining a uniform force over all region of the area pressed by the pressure plate and, moreover, prevents the sticking of an original pressing member to a contact glass.
