PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more efficient sterilization or bacteriostasis method compared to the conventional method using a noble metal electrode.;SOLUTION: Treatment objective water 4 containing microorganism is sterilized by electrochemically treatment using an anode 2 having conductive diamond and bringing the microorganism into contact with the anode.
