PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when some of a group of electronic controlled units concerned with sequence control are reset, the sequence control may fail.;SOLUTION: A control device for a vehicle is equipped with the group of electronic controlled units (ECU) for sequence controlling while taking consistency under a main electronic controlled unit (HCM). When each of the ECUs detects itself as reset, it sends a reset signal to another ECU, omits the intermediate process and returns to the state immediately before resetting. The other ECUs holds processing until all the electronic controlled units are returned to the state T1 immediately before resetting, and the HCM restarts sequence control when all the electronic controlled units are returned to the state T1 immediately before resetting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
