PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and exactly perform the judgement of flow-out of slag.;SOLUTION: When molten metal is poured from a vessel including the molten metal and slag into the other vessel through sealed flowing tube, in the case of detecting the flow-out of the slag into the other vessel through the sealed flowing tube, vibration level in an one dimensional, a two dimensional or a three dimensional direction generated in the sealed flowing tube is measured with the elapse of time, and a delay vector is prepared based on the measured signal. The variation with elapse of time of the condition of the sealed flowing tube in the detective object can exactly be caught by judging the flow-out of the slag based on the behavior with time of a reconstituting attractor drawn with the obtained delay vector so as to be able to quickly and exactly judge the flow-out of the slag from a ladle to a tundish.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
