PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a two agent type hair-treating agent imparting excellent moist feeling and finger-combing properties to the hair and excellent in shampoo resistance and persistency of imparted effect, and to provide a method for treating the hair by using the two agent type hair treating agent.;SOLUTION: The two agent type hair-treating agent is composed of a first agent comprising clay mineral(s), preferably one or more kinds of smectite clay minerals selected from the group consisting of hectorite, montmorillonite and saponite and a second agent comprising a cationic surfactant and a silicone compound, preferably a highly polymerized methylpolysiloxane and/or an amino-modified silicone. The method for treating the hair comprises applying the first agent of the hair-treating agent to the hair and then rinsing the hair, or without rinsing the hair, applying the second agent to the hair and then rinsing the hair.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
