PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid sol of a precious metal or copper with excellent color saturation, containing colloid particles of the precious metal or copper at high concentrations without coagulation by adding it to a paint or a resin and sufficient tinting power, and a process for production of their solid sol and colored paint and resin compositions with these sol.;SOLUTION: The compositions contain colloid particles of the precious metal or copper and a high molecular weight pigment dispersing agent with pigment affinitive group(s) in the main chain and/or a plurality of side chains and a comb structure polymer having plural side chains forming solvated part, or a polymer composed of a plurality of pigment affinitive parts containing the pigment affinitive group in the main chain. The comb structure polymer having above mentioned a plurality of side chains, has a number average molecular weight of 2,000-1,000,000 and the polymer having above mentioned a plurality of pigment affinitive parts is the solid sol of the precious metal or copper with a number average molecular weight of 2,000-1,000,000.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
