PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a program for linking platforms, a program recording medium, and a method for linking platforms, for reducing the time required for the algorithm investigation needed to link programs even if the programs are on different kinds of computers, while reducing the time required to originate or inspect the programs and reducing difficulty in linking them.;SOLUTION: The device is provided with: a character recognition process part 110 which extracts character information outputted from computers 21, 22, based on video signals outputted from the computers 21, 22; an input device signal converting part 140 by which signals outputted to the computers 21, 22 are converted into input device signals for output; and a control part 102 by which the programs stored in the computers 21, 22 are linked together according to the information extracted by the character recognition process part 110.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
