PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately presume power consumption characteristic of various kinds of conveyor belts from a measurement result of the power consumption when an endless belt comprising a plurality of kinds of conveyor belts is driven and to specify a route of a belt conveyor line largely affecting to the power consumption of this endless belt.;SOLUTION: The presumption method of the power consumption characteristic of the conveyor belt has a measurement step for obtaining time series data by measuring time variation of the power consumption accompanying with driving of the endless be and a presumption step for presuming the power consumption characteristics of the respective conveyor belts by regression analysis using a position information of the respective conveyor belts at the belt conveyor line corresponding to respective times of the time series data and the measured time series data. Presumption of the time variation of the power consumption is carried out using the presumption method and the route of the belt conveyor line largely affecting the power consumption is specified from the condition realizing the optimum presumption.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
