PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for supporting the refining (strengthening and relieving) of a keyword extraction rule that is used by a keyword extractor. ;SOLUTION: When the keyword extractor extracts a keyword from an expression having a prescribed relation between a word corresponding to the keyword of a 1st keyword group and a word corresponding to the keyword of a 2nd keyword group, a presentation means presents a rule and an expression adaptive to the rule. When a reception means receives indication from a user not to apply the rule to the expression, a constraint strengthening means changes the rule into an inapplicable one. Meanwhile, a constraint relieving means changes the rule into an applicable one when the presentation means presents an expression and a rule adaptive to only two conditions that are prescribed by the rule and the reception means receives indication from the user to apply the rule to the expression.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
