PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influences of the friction of an auxiliary mass on vibration damping performance.;SOLUTION: This active damper control device comprises a damped object motion collecting part 11 for collecting the motion of a damped object 3, an auxiliary mass motion collecting part 12 for collecting the motion of the auxiliary mass 2 for sliding a linear guide 4, a model part 13 for calculating damping motion information showing the motion of the auxiliary mass 2 such that the damped object 3 is not vibrated in accordance with the motion of the damped object 3 and that of the auxiliary mass 2, a friction compensation part 14 for calculating driving force on the auxiliary mass 2 into motion in accordance with the damping motion information, and a controller part 15 for outputting an electric signal 10 corresponding to the driving force to an actuator 8. The actuator 8 gives the driving force to the auxiliary mass 2 in response to the electric signal 10. The driving force is the sum of force proportional to an acceleration V of the auxiliary mass 2 shown by the damping motion information and friction compensation force F calculated in accordance with the direction of a speed V of the auxiliary mass 2.
