PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly economical fertilizer applicating material affording sustainable effect, constituting no hindrance to its application activities even in the case of rainfall, snowfall or the like, easily producible and therefore readily spreadable nationwide. SOLUTION: This fertilizer applicating material, which is granular, essentially comprises a basal substance consisting of iron/steel slag and/or concrete waste material, an iron sulfate and diatomaceous earth.
