PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheetlike material for leather, which is luminous in the dark after absorbing light, by forming a finishing layer comprising a resin containing a light-accumulative pigment on the surface of a sheet base material for leather. ;SOLUTION: This leather-like sheetlike material having a finishing layer including a light-accumulative pigment is obtained by coating a coating solution obtained by adding a light accumulative pigment such as SrAl2O3 in an amount of 20-50 wt.% based on the weight of a polyurethane resin to an organic solvent solution of the polyurethane resin on a commercially available granulated releasing paper to form a polyurethane resin layer containing the light-accumulative agent, and further forming a polyurethane coated film layer containing a pigment having a prescribed hue on the polyurethane layer containing the light- accumulative agent, then pasting together the resultant layers to a leather-like sheet base material through a bonding agent and peeling the releasing paper.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
