PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety and performance, and to miniaturize a heater and a heater-integrated heat exchanger to be used for a cooler/heater for an automatic vending machine for drink and food, using an inflammable cooling medium.;SOLUTION: A heater 13 and a coolant tube 14 bent into a serpentine shape are inserted into long holes 12a and 12b formed in a group of plate fins 11 arranged with a space from each other in the close condition. Miniaturization and improvement of performance are realized and surface temperature can be lowered by enlarging a heat transfer area of the heater, and the surface temperature can be kept below the ignition temperature of the combustible coolant with a relatively low-cost method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
