PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support framing plan preparation by automatically generating a framing plan from a floor plan, and automatically deciding a compartment line dividing each hierarchy of a building into stable compartments by arithmetic processing to be performed by a computer in order to set a standard to arrange horizontal rack materials.;SOLUTION: This framing plan preparation supporting device is configured so that a partition line between a compartment line generation target layer and a right-lower layer is set as a compartment line candidate (S610, S620), and a compartment connecting the outermost segments is defined as a host compartment (S640), and the host compartment is divided into two compartments (S650), and a compartment line dividing an L type compartment is additionally set (S660), and the compartment whose division is further necessary is divided under area division conditions (S670), and the compartment in the shape whose division is further necessary is divided under shape slenderness ratio division conditions (S690).
