PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter allowing a convenience for gas consumers and gas administration center to be improved, an operating time shutoff function resetting method, and an operating time shutoff notice method.;SOLUTION: In this gas meter with an operating time shutoff function, when a gas operating time exceeds a pre-determined set time, a shutoff valve is closed to shut off gas. The gas meter comprises a first judgment means 15a1-1 for judging that a shutoff valve open switch 15k is turned on, a second judgment means 15a1-2 for judging that the shutoff valve is not closed, a third judgment means 15a1-3 for judging that the gas is in use, and an operating time shutoff function resetting means 15a1-5 for resetting the operating time shutoff function based on the results of the judgment by the first, second, and third judgment means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
