PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel connecting metal fitting and a panel connecting structure for preventing deterioration in heat insulating performance and the appearance of a heat insulating material installed on, for example, a panel by simplifying the connecting work and part management of the panel at a construction site.;SOLUTION: This panel connecting metal fitting 10 connects first and second outer wall panels 12 and 14 of a building by securing a joint width 16. First and second pieces 46 and 48 are installed in advance on respective side edges of the panels 12 and 14 in a factory. At the construction site, the two panels 12 and 14 can be connected in a flush shape only by pressing a third piece 42 in first and second clearances 60 and 60 formed of the first and second pieces 46 and 48. Since two projections 66 of the third piece 42 sandwich the first and second pieces 46 and 48 from both sides in an abutting state of first and second projection parts 52 and 52, a joint width W1 can be secured. The third piece 42 can be pressed in by inserting a press-in tool into a joint part 16 from the outside of the building. The connecting work of the outer wall panels and the management of the third piece as a part are facilitated at the construction site.
