PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system with which communication between terminals is effectively performed even when the support of an OS for a medium is omitted at one part of a local area network (LAN). ;SOLUTION: This method applies a capsuled packet from one terminal of one part of plural stations and utilizes the tag of a tag format packet 22 as the indicator of capsuling in the capsuled packet. Besides, the method for communication in a wireless LAN(WLAN) forms a data packet according to a known medium standard at one part of plural terminals, capsules the data packet according to a wireless medium standard and shows capsuling by tagging the data packet.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
