PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject material excellent in sound-insulating, impact- resisting and vibration-resisting properties and enabling to easily be produced for a large sized object at low costs by adding a conductive filler to a rubber raw material and subsequently adding a specific amount of sulfur to the obtained conductive material. ;SOLUTION: This electromagnetic wave-shielding material is obtained by adding 35-65 pts.wt. of a conductive filler such as carbon and, if necessary, 3-30 pts.wt. of zinc flower as a vulcanization auxiliary to 100 pts.wt. of a rubber raw material and subsequently adding 8-16 pts.wt. of sulfur to 100 pts.wt. of the obtained conductive material. The rubber raw material is, if necessary, produced by nipping a net formed from a metal material with a rubber material, or about 30 pts.wt. of short metal fibers or 10-30 pts.wt. of carbon fibers are, if necessary, added to 100 pts.wt. of the rubber raw material to form a conductive material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
