The present invention relates to a gene being capable of modifying resistance against a heavy metal or salt, or accumulation properties, a recombination vector including the genes, and a transformant using the recombination vector. A gene having heavy metal resistance and accumulation properties includes a sequence encoding a transmembrane protein having five times repeated similar four transmembrane domains.
