The device has toothed belts (1, 6) placed near its lateral edges (3) and parallel to the lateral edges, where the belts are provided with successive teeth (5, 8). Lateral faces of the teeth extend along a longitudinal direction of the lateral edges. One of the toothed belts placed on a face of a curtain (2) is supported against a flange (4) when the curtain is rolled, where the flange is placed on another face of the curtain.
