The method involves modifying frequency on a musical instrument such as keyboard instrument, stroked string instrument e.g. piano, or twang instrument e.g. harpsichord or spinet, to produce a flat sign and a sharp sign and to select a tuning procedure. A control device e.g. lever (H), is added to control modification action of frequencies. An axle of a fork (G) is displaced for modifying the tuning procedure with respect to a position of a cam (I), where the fork is activated by the lever that manages half-tones.
