Personal care and household composition and method of using a composition for personal care and home care are described compositions of personal hygiene and household hygiene, which include silver dihydrogen citrate. The inventive compositions are advantageously in the form of suspensions, pastes, liquids and gels.The inventive compositions also optionally comprise additional ingredients, and are therefore suitable for a wide variety of purposes of personal, home and industrial hygiene.
