Method and procedure for extraction in solid phase using clay as sorbent. The environmental concern, especially in relation to the sources of environmental water, is growing. Every day increases the need to search for new technologies to resist the advance of the pollution.However, to carry out environmental monitoring, the preparation of the samples is the most important step primarily due to low levels of pollutants (traces) and the interference caused by the presence of other constituents in the samples. In the stage of preparation, it is important, therefore, to pre concentrate the samples and extract the desired pollutant.Among the techniques of extraction to reach this goal, the extraction in solid phase is highlighted. But still, there is a problem concerning the methodology to be followed, because know what solvent use, which will be the volume of each substance and especially which sorbent being used, it is essential for a good result in the extraction.The sorventes used nowadays are mostly impractical due to its instability and inefficiencies in certain occasions, not to mention the high costs of these conventional methods.Thus, the proposed invention presents the use of a procedure, the method and the sorbent (clay) is able to achieve better results in the extraction process of pollutants in environmental water with a low cost, but also easy to automation.
