The Invention relates to the use of compound I to the manufacture of pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of Liver Diseases in humans in which Iron plays a role in the pathogenesis, including Viral Diseases, such as chronic hepatitis COptionally in conjunction with AntiVirus agents and for the treatment of Viral Diseases, such as nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, alcoholic and non alcoholic fatty liver disease.
