In the present invention, there is disclosed a device for positioning trolleybus current collector bars (3) parallel to the trolleybus axis wherein the device performs such positioning by the action of an air cylinder (4) disposed between a frame (1) and a turn plate (5) rotatably mounted on the trolleybus frame (1). The air cylinder (4) consists of two co-axially coupled cylinders (41, 42) where a space in the front of a piston (410) of the first cylinder (41) is connected through a duct (P1) with a space underneath a piston (420) of the second cylinder (42) whereby said duct is connected to a compressed air supply (P). Both, a space in front of the second cylinder (42) piston (420) and a space underneath the first cylinder (41) piston (410) are provided with outlets to atmosphere.
