The prefabricated design of the partitions and seals for installation inside the casing of the heat exchanger, containing a number of longitudinal partitions; a number of longitudinal seals designed to seal the longitudinal edges of the longitudinal partitions and, after installation, are in contact with the heat exchanger casing, and, in addition, a wall element installed with the passage between the longitudinal seals of adjacent longitudinal partitions so as to form a double heat exchanger with the casing after installation the wall. A method for assembling a heat exchanger, comprising using a heat exchanger casing and a prefabricated design of partitions and seals in accordance with the invention; mounting the prefabricated structure of the partitions and seals outside the heat exchanger casing and introducing the mounted structure into the heat exchanger casing so that each wall element forms a double wall with the heat exchanger casing.
