摘要

In the tomato products industry the production of tomato paste is performed under vacuum conditions (from -36 to -68 cm Hg) into evaporators/condensers characterised by rapid juice recirculation and continuous three-stage great- capability condensation. The vapors/evaporations issued from the three-stage tomato juice concentration process exhibit, in the liquid phase, extremely low conductivity and hardness and are able to serve as water supply to boilers (after pH regulation) in contrast to the existing state of art and the predominant conviction declining the regaining and valorization of whatever tomato-issued vapors current. Advantages: energy saving, natural resources preservation (combustible and water), drastic reduction of the tomato paste production cost, reduction of environmental consequences, smooth operation of the boilers, increase of the evaporators/condensers capability due to the improved operation of the cooling towers.
