Method and system of making and receiving telephone calls, comprising the steps of; calling party dialing a destination number; calling party adding an urgency tag code to the dialed number; the calling party"s switch being notified the number and the urgency tag code and forwarding both to the receiving party"s switch; the receiving party"s switch being notified the number and the urgency tag digit code; the call being handled by switches of calling party and receiving party, applying program logic means, on the basis of the profiles set by calling party and receiving party, in respect of the urgency tag code.
