The present invention relates to an improved method of heat-treatment of steel to reduce welding failure. More particularly this present invention relates to a heat-treatment process for producing welden corten steel tubes having reduced flare failure. The present invention emphasize on the introduction of a " three-cycle heat-treatment process for achieving fine grain structure in the seam joint in ERW corten tubes." The operational process is carried out by a plurality of steps.
