The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for use in the prophylaxis or treatment of allergic ophthalmic diseases or allergic nasal diseases, which comprises 7,8-dimethoxy-4(5H)/10-dioxo-lH-l,2,3-triazolo[4,5-c][l] benzazepine, 2-(1-isopropoxycarbonyloxy-2-methylpropyl)-7,8-dimethoxy-4(5 H),10-dioxo-2H-1,2,3-triazolo[4,5-c][1] benzazepine or a pharmaceuticaliy acceptable salt thereof. The pharmaceutical composition according to the present invention has few side effects, exerts strong prophylactic and therapeutic effects in the late phase exhibiting pharmaceutical resistance to conventional instillations, and can be used appropriately for topical applications.
