A PROCESS FOR PREPARING A HERBAL COMPOSITION FOR THE TREATMENT OF ANIMAL BITES ESPECIALLY SNAKE BITE AND EARLY STAGES OF HYDROPHOBIA

This invention deals with a herbal composition and the process of preparing the herbal composition ,for use in treating animal bites and an early stages of hydrophobia. The ingredients used in the composition are Crotolaria prostrata, Solatium suratiense, Cassia ocddentaRs and Menispermaceae in ratio of 4:1:1:1. The parts of these plant are pounded together to bruise the cell wall until the said parts are pounded into a pulp. The pulp is thereafter soaked in water for around 28 hours in a cool place. Thereafter it is decanted and the sediment is stored for use in treating animal bite especially snake bite and early stages of hydrophobia.
