The process for application of antifriction wear-resistant coats on titanium and alloys thereof by the electrospark alloying method consists in the application of a bronze layer. Initially, onto the titanium surface or alloys thereof by the electrospark alloying method it is coated a refractory metal layer, for example, Cr, Nb or Mo, afterwards it is coated by the same method the bronze layer, at the same time the duration of coating of each layer is equal to (2…4)·6·105 s/m2, and the ratio between the refractory metal layer thickness and the bronze layer thickness is within the limits of 0,5…1,1.
