The invention relates to an amino acid solution for the parenteral nutrition of paediatric patients. The amino acid solution is distinguished by increased concentrations of glutamine, tyrosine, cysteine and taurine, while phenylalanine and methionine are present at low concentrations. Glutamine and tyrosine are provided in the form of oligopeptides.
