The hearing aid comprises a housing (10) adapted to worn outside the ear of user, which co-acts with an in-the-ear unit (20) provided with sound-emitting opening to receive sound in the ear. A digital processing device (13) reproduces sound received by a microphone (21), to an auditory organ of the user via loudspeaker (23). The in-the-ear unit is physically separated from the housing and electronically connects with the microphone and loudspeaker at the time of reproducing the sound. An independent claim is also included for manufacturing method of hearing aid.
