The installation is for effecting laser treatment of the human body and comprises a frame with first and second parts movable in relation to one aother under the control of a drive arrangement. A control is provided for the drive arrangement in accordance with a movement pattern. At least one laser component comprises a laser light activation unit and at least one laser light application component. The laser component is fixable to the second frame part. Specifically, the treatment installation (1) handles the neck and head of a person. It comprises a fitment plate (19) which fits on the rear side of the back rest of a chair. It has six screws to fix it through holes (26) in the back rest of the chair. To the fixture plate (19), the first frame part (10) is fixed by a height-adjustable frame tube (27) coupled with a horizontal bar (20). The frame tube is fixed in a horizontal binding rod (20) on which a vertical frame tube (14) of the first frame part (10) is fixed.
