The sunlight (1) reflection and absorption system is aimed at the reduction and possibly complete abatement of earth warming as the result of the greenhouse effect. A screen (3) is used for reflection (2) and absorption and is placed between the earth (5) and teh sun and of which the shadow preferably falls between the two changing circles (6) so that a determined quantity of the incoming sunlight (1) is absorbed or is cast back into space. Through the screen, a path around the sun is described virtually parallel to that of the earth around the sun. Care is therefore taken to ensure that the shadow of the screen is stationary in relation to the axis (4) between the center point of the earth and that of the sun and thus daily a whole earth strip of 360 degrees is covered/transited. Since solar radiation in the morning and afternoon is less intensive than around midday, in order to avoid excessive costs the length of the screen is so limited that it is active from 0.900 u to 15.00 u.
