The hinge (1) has a part (8) for connecting the hinge with a horizontal boundary (16) e.g. floor, and a pivot (5) connected to the part and connecting the hinge with top or bottom of a door (2). A position mechanism (17) positions another part (3) of the hinge in a preferred position in relation to the part (8), where the position mechanism is placed in a recess of the door. The position mechanism has a cam track (6) that is resilient to a spring moving cam (10), such that the cam and the cam track seize with each other in a direction parallel to an axis of the pivot. An independent claim is also included for a door for closing a doorway.
