Carton packaging for e.g. fruit juice, resealable using sliding closure part cooperating with guide strip to fix W shaped fold for pour spout into place

The carton (1) includes a guide means cooperating with at least one closure part (3) which can be moved between at least one locking position in which it fixes a W-shaped fold (5) in the packaging material into place, and a released position in which it allows the W-shaped fold to be unfolded in order to form a pour spout. The closure part is preferably a sleigh with a U-shaped plastic profile which moves along the edges (4) of a plastic strip (2) bonded to the packaging material by heat welding or adhesive. The packaging comprises one or more layers of material at least partly folded together to form a W-shaped fold. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing the packaging by applying the guide means and closure part to the carton.
