The present invention concerns a method for voice-control of a radio transmitter (15), wherein a signal from a microphone (3) starts the radio transmitter (15), the method comprising: - splitting the radio signal into two parallel signal paths (9; 11, 11'); - feeding the microphone signal in the first signal path (9) onto a voice detector (13) arranged so as to start the radio transmitter (15) upon voice being detected; - delaying the microphone signal in the second signal path (11, 11'), and feeding the delayed microphone signal onto the radio transmitter (15) for transmission. The distinctive characteristic of the method is that it further includes splitting the delayed, second microphone signal into a further signal path (12), which is fed to the voice detector (13).
