Rasagiline ( R(+)-N-propargyl-1-aminodan ) formulations of improved content uniformity

Disclosed is a mixture of particles of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of R(+)-N-propargyl-1-aminoindan, also known as rasagiline, wherein more than 90% of the total amount by volume of rasagiline salt particles have a size of greater than 6 microns and less than 250 microns. Also disclosed is a process for preparing the particle mixture, and its use in treating Parkinson's disease.
