Provided is a spot-on composition comprising at least one of macrocyclic lactone selected from moxidectin, doramectin, emamectin, abamectin, ivermectin, selamectin and eprinomectin and at least one compound selected from praziquantel, morantel and pyrantel, combined with a thickening agent and a non-aqueous solvent and a crystallization inhibitor. Further provided is a method of increasing systemic availability of the composition by administering the composition to a non-human animal.
