An apparatus for the dosed dispensing of a fluid, such as an infuser is disclosed. The apparatus includes a housing (1), with a fluid chamber (2) and a pressure medium chamber, (3) connected to a gas pressure source (11) connected in an exchangeable manner with the housing. The housing (1) consists of two mutually detachably joined housing parts, of which the first housing (6) part comprises the pressure medium chamber (3) and the second housing part (7) receives in an exchangeable manner the fluid chamber (2) configured as a leak proof bag (4). The first housing part (6) is sealed by a membrane (5) against the second housing part (7) and is connected to a gas pressure source (11). The membrane (5) is arranged on the first housing part (6) in the region of the separating plane of the two housing parts. The flexible wall (4) of the fluid chamber (2) can be pressurized from the outside with a pressure medium. The pressure medium is formed by the reaction of a carbonate preparation, which is pressed into a tablet (19), to an organic acid (17) held apart until use by a frangible film (18). The gas produced enters a container (15) by way of a gas-permeable membrane (15). A valve (12) between the pressure source (11) and the pressure chamber (3) control the pressure in the pressure chamber (3). A pressure reducing valve also assists to control the pressure in the pressure chamber (3).
