Water jet propulsion thrust vectoring nozzle

A thrust vectoring system for optimising performance and controllability of a water jet propulsion unit is disclosed. A ring (6) is attached about a vertically pivoted axis (1) to the outside of the propulsion unit (7), and a nozzle (4) set partially inside the propulsion unit is attached to the ring by a yolk (3) through a horizontally pivoted axis (2). An actuator (9) operates the ring and the nozzle via the yolk.
