A method of electric erosion machining of working combined pairs of dies of common action, when the fact of wear of plate electrode is used, obtaining a stepless punch of variable lengthwise cross section, from which are obtained a punch-tool and a punch-electrode, and matrix is obtained by method of direct copying by intermediate tool electrode ensuring required stamping clearance between the punch and the matrix, whose working dimensions are defined as the sum of corresponding dimensions of punch-tool and value, which is the difference of stamping and interelectrode gaps, through which the machining of working combined pairs of dies is conducted with the help of one accurately made graphite tool electrode.
