Method for use of data of information medium at development of designing-engineering and normative-technical documentation for building, modernization and repair of floating constructions according to which all data of current project are divided by functional characteristics to data banks. Data obtained as result of dialog with designer are combined to bank of non-typical design solutions. Data of past projects put into operation are placed in bank of permanent data and if needed in bank of non-typical design solutions. Technical and operation characteristics of equipment that can be used in floating construction are combined to data bank for typical units and parts. Characteristics and parameters set by normative documents are combined to bank of normative data. Data of intermediate variants of design are entered to bank of intermediate solutions. Data of project that are related to confidential information with restricted access to it are combined to data bank of confidential information, interaction with that one is carried out under control of module for confidential information processing, access to control of which is restricted. Exchange of data between all the banks, between data banks and designer, control of intermediate versions of designing is performed under control of at least one control module. Calculation of budget of project is developed by data of bank of intermediate solutions. Content of data banks is changed by means of supplementary module of correction assess to control of which is restricted. Set of documentation of coordinated project is placed in archive of designing and normative-technical documentation. To data bank of external links one enters data of supply organizations and client organizations with correction of content of the bank with new organizations arriving. Programs used at development of designing and normative-technical documentation for all projects are entered to data bank for typical programs of calculations content of which is corrected at implementation of new calculation programs. Placement of information in all data banks and documentation in archive of designing and normative-technical documentation is structured by relation to specific project of floating mean with use of link to design of initial use at taking information from bank or document in archive of designing and normative-technical documentation. One provides connection of designer to system of document circulation of enterprise, this is supplemented by bank of current data of document circulation where one places documents that are at stage of investigation, execution, development, coordination and approval, and module for control of document circulation by means of which operator of document circulation provides access for designers to objects of document circulation related to respective project of floating construction, control of order and terms of coordination and approval as documents of general document circulation and documents of designing and normative-technical documentation as well.
