METHOD FOR ASSESSING TREATMENT EFFICACY IN PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE WITH EXERTIONAL STENOCARDIA AND ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION

A method for assessing the treatment efficacy in the patients with the ischemic heart disease with exertional stenocardia and arterial hypertension comprises the comparison of the state of the patients prior to and after the treatment. Prior to the treatment with Amlodipin, the blood is sampled from the ulnar vein, and the rheologic properties are assessed by measuring the viscosity of the blood with the aid of the rotational viscosimeter under various shear force. The same examination is performed after the course of the treatment. When the viscosity of the blood applying the shear force of 0.3 dyn/cmdecreases by 10% as compared with that prior to the treatment, the hemorheologic and antianginal effects of the treatment are regarded as the positive.
