Method for formation of biological state of metabolic alkalosis in rats includes breeding, keeping and feeding laboratory animal and injection of toxicant to those. Animal during 14 days undergo intraperitoneal introduction of cadmium sulfate that is preliminarily dissolved in 0.9 % solution of sodium chloride at level 0.134 mg / 100 g of body mass of animal (that is 1/50 LD), during next 14 days one models condition of experimental metabolic alkalosis through intraperitoneal introduction of sodium bicarbonate at level 45 mg / 100 g of body mass of animal.
