METHOD FOR ASSESSING PROTECTIVE FUNCTION OF CALCIUM IN SETTING OF LEAD INTOXICATION

A method for assessing the protective function of calcium in the setting of lead intoxication comprises the formation of the groups under study, the addition of the powdered egg shell to the fodder, the modeling of the lead intoxication followed by sampling the analyzed biological fluid for its assay. The groups of the animals under study are formed from the adult and maturing animals. The samples of the peripheral blood are assayed on the 10th day of intoxication. The erythrocyte count and hemoglobin content are assayed and used for the assessment of the acceptable protective function of calcium or the absence of the protection.
